It's been a while since iOS 8 was released, but I've been living with it as best as I can.
I'll be honest and say it was my fault for downloading it in the first place. The story goes: I was in English and somebody asked me, "Hey, have you downloaded iOS 8 yet?"
Since I hadn't, I responded, "No."
So he told me, "You should."
I went home and I tried to download it, but it told me something about not having enough space on my phone. I didn't exactly understand what that meant, so I just connected my phone to iTunes and tried again. It still told me I didn't have enough space, so I deleted everything I could - including old test messages - and somehow managed to get it to download.
Then I started to understand what 'not enough space' meant.
I used to have a plethora of games on my phone. Shortly before getting iOS 8, I had Gardenscapes, Where's My Water, Cut the Rope, Fruit Ninja, Flappy Golf, The Impossible Game, Yes Chef, Plants vs Zombies 2, and Dragonvale on my phone. As well as useful stuff like Google Docs, Google Drive. Google Sheets, Charms, Quizlet, and Spotify. I'm not quite sure where Manga Rock falls, but I had that too.
It started with the pictures
I'm a girl. I like pictures as long as they're not of me. I used to take pictures of people, food, things I drew, the sky, weird things at Chinatown, etc. But then my phone started telling me I didn't have enough space.
So I deleted some of my games.
It was okay for a while afterwords as long as I didn't have too many photos stored at one time, which was kind of annoying because I had to delete the photo after emailing it to myself and then delete it from the deleted photos album.
But then it got bad again. I don't even know what I did. So I deleted the rest of my games as well as all of my useful apps except for Charms because I need it for school.
It got okay for a while again, but recently, my phone has been giving me these messages saying that there's not enough storage space. It used to do it once in a while, but now they come at least once every few days.
And it ends with the pictures.
I drew something today that actually looks kind of decent, but I can't share it with the world because iOS 8 sucks. Why does 'Photos and Camera' take up 19.5 MB when I have no photos and can't use the camera? Literally. When I open up the camera, it gives me a black screen and there's a small square with the last photo that I took with my phone that I deleted a long time ago. Why does 'iBooks' take up 17.7 MB when I have no books? Why does 'Podcasts' take up 4 MB when I've never opened it? Why does it only take up 656 KB when I've finally opened it and deleted 2 playlists. How large can completely empty playlists be?
I have faded memories of playing Quiz Up on my phone way back when. A little more recently, I remember playing Yes Chef. But my most vivid memories of my phone involve reading fanfiction because that is the most exciting thing I can do with my phone - Safari.
Not that the internet isn't exciting, but anything more useful, say... a news article, will probably be too long and too ad riddled to load.
If you haven't noticed, this was just a rant. Anyways, bottom line is that I really hate iOS 8. I reluctantly accepted that I would no longer be able to record videos on my phone long ago, but now it's become evident that I can't take pictures either.
This iPhone is the second phone I've ever had in my life. The first one was an LG Chocolate slider. I could call people, text people, and take photos and videos with it. I also had a few games like Pac-man and Tetris. There was also this game where you had a person and did stuff with them. I didn't really understand it. I also figured out a way to play songs on it by creating an audio recording of songs and playing them back.
My current phone can call people, text people, and access the internet. It's monthly plan is a lot more expensive than my old one.
My point would be much more valid if I could say that I prefer my old phone to my iPhone, but I don't. I'll admit that not only does the internet save me from a lot of zeroes on my homework, but it's also easier to use. On the other hand, I would seriously consider switching back to my old phone. I used to take pictures of the textbook on my old phone, which would cover my homework problem.
I missed my chance to wrap this up nicely, so I'm just going to backtrack and say I really hate iOS 8.

2015
I forgot to wish you guys a happy new year, so I guess I'll do it now.
Happy New Years!
Anyways, I haven't added played any Rune Factory lately, or any game for that matter except Mario Kart, but I'll get back to it eventually. I just wanted to tell you guys about my dream.
I only remember a bit of it, but I was basically Raguna's guide - I was like his Sparx. I was trying to get him to go to whale island, but he wouldn't believe that there was actually stuff on it, so I kept badgering him to go there and finally he was like, "Fine. I'll check it out." So I bring him to this ivy covered wall and say, "Climb." Of course he looks at me like I'm crazy because the wall is really tall, but since he's a super hot macho man, he barely sweats a brow while climbing it. When the two of us reach the top, because in dreams I too can climb ivy covered walls, I remember that we're not supposed to take the ivy covered wall to whale island, we're supposed to take the beanstalk. Being the gentleman he is, Raguna - more of an Owen (ToT)/Raguna crossover - offers his hand, but I'm like, "Hey, my bad. We went the wrong way." and I slide all the way back down and he's just leaning there all confused. He follows me back down and I'm speed walking through the town looking for Iris. I have no idea where she is, so I stop a villager and they tell me she's somewhere (I forgot what they said). As I'm making my way to Iris, Owen!Raguna is asking me all sorts of questions about why we went back down, what I'm doing, etc. We make it to where Iris is, I tap her on the shoulder, she turns around, and she looks like Iris Fey, but with purple hair, which I guess comes from the Iris from Pokemon.
That's all I remember. Very anti-climactic, I know, but it did remind me that there's more to life than fanfiction and WHAP notes. Namely, practicing viola.
Haha, jk. The point is that I've remembered my dream for the first time in a long time and it's made me want to get back to my DS and do stuff that doesn't involve my phone.
