Fairy Type

When I first read this, I seriously thought it was a joke. I know it's been out for a while, but I just learned of it today. I think it was steel (was it steel?) that wasn't always a type and maybe back then people thought, "A new type called steel? That's ridiculous!" Or something to that effect. But Fairy! Fairy!!!!!!!!
Sorry, but that's a whole other level of ridiculousness. I know I should be open minded about this, and it's not as if I have something against fairies, my friends and I used to pretend to be (epic) faeries during recess in 5th grade, but I just don't think that they belong in Pokemon. Though I suppose they can't be all that bad if Sylveon is one... Talk about bias.

Anyways, about the fairy type Pokemon:
Sylveon- Fine with me
Jigglypuff- They've been strictly normal for my entire life, but I can see it.
Gardevoir- They're cool and all floatyish so... Wynaut. Get it?
Marill- why in the world is an aquatic mouse part fairy! Maybe Azurill would be okay, but Marill!?!?!?!?!?!

I know my view is somewhat extreme, however, I do not believe fairies belong in Pokemon. Whoever in the world is nice enough to visit an un-updated blog, please comment and tell me how you feel about the new fairy type.
